Deep cleaning in Vancouver
The corrective clean that resets a home, at $36 per hour, per cleaner. Inside the oven, fridge and microwave, baseboards, frames, grout and the build-up a regular visit never reaches. A two-bedroom condo is about $180; a three-bedroom house about $216.
- If it has been more than three months since a professional clean, this is the one you need
- It costs roughly double a regular visit, and makes every visit after it faster and cheaper
- A fixed total in writing before we start, never re-priced at your door

One question settles it
How long since the last professional clean? Booking a regular clean on a home that needs a deep one is the most common reason people end up disappointed — and it is the complaint that appears most often in our own critical reviews.
More than three months — or you can see it
- Visible build-up inside the oven, or a fridge nobody has emptied
- Grout that has gone grey, or dark spots in the shower seal
- A dust line along the baseboards and behind the furniture
- You have just moved in, or you are starting a recurring plan
- Spring, after a winter of closed windows and Vancouver damp
Under three months, and nothing stands out
- The home has been cleaned professionally this quarter
- Appliances are used but not encrusted
- Grout is still white and the seals are clean
- You want upkeep, not a reset
- Then recurring at $32/h is the right call, not this page
Everything a regular visit never reaches
A deep clean includes everything in a regular clean, plus the list below. Pick an area to see it.
Inside the appliances
The oven is where a deep clean earns its name, and it is the single item a regular visit never opens.
- Oven interior, racks, door glass
- Fridge interior, shelves and seals
- Microwave, inside and out
- Range hood filter degreased
Grout, tiles & seals
Eight months of rain and closed windows is why Vancouver bathrooms go grey faster than almost anywhere in Canada.
- Grout lines scrubbed back to colour
- Silicone seals treated for mould spots
- Limescale off glass, tracks and fittings
- Extractor fan cover and vent
Baseboards & frames
Nobody looks at a baseboard until it is clean. Then they notice the whole room looks different and cannot say why.
- Baseboards and mouldings washed
- Door frames, doors and handles
- Switch plates and sockets
- Light fittings, fans and reachable vents
Behind and underneath
We move what two people can lift safely. Beds, pianos and anything on a granite top stay where they are — we tell you that before, not after.
- Under and behind movable furniture
- Interior windows, sills and tracks
- Inside reachable cabinets and drawers
- Tops of wardrobes and shelving
Deep cleaning prices in Vancouver
Always rate × cleaners × hours, at $36 per hour, per cleaner. A deep clean needs two people: one works top-down while the other handles the wet work.
| Home | Team and time | Total |
|---|---|---|
| 2 bed / 2 bath condo — first deep clean | 5 h | $180 |
| 3 bed house — first deep clean | 6 h | $216 |
A deep clean costs roughly double a regular one, and it pays for itself: once the baseline is reset, every recurring visit afterwards is faster, which means cheaper. If you want the full reset — furniture and appliances moved, walls and ceilings — that is the Premium service at $45 per hour with a fixed three-person team. See how every service is priced
What you are actually paying for
Quoted as a deep clean, not upsold
We ask how long since the last professional clean before quoting. Nothing gets reclassified at your door while a team is already standing in your hallway.
A written checklist
You see exactly which extras a deep clean adds over a regular one, before you book. That is the end of “I thought that was included”.
Eco-premium, low residue
Degreasers strong enough for an oven, safe enough for a kitchen used the next morning. Residue is what pulls dirt straight back.
Two cleaners, trained for it
Deep cleaning is a different skill from maintenance. One works top-down, the other does the wet work, so nothing gets cleaned twice or missed.
Insured and bonded
Deep cleaning means moving furniture and working on finishes. If something is damaged, you report it and we handle the claim.
24-hour re-clean
Tell us within a day and we come back at no cost. No argument and no asking you to prove it.
Deep cleaning across Metro Vancouver
The same rate everywhere. No travel surcharge and no minimum outside the city.

Deep cleaning in Vancouver: your questions
What does a deep clean include that a regular clean does not?
Everything inside: the oven, fridge and microwave; grout lines, tiles and silicone seals; baseboards, mouldings, door frames and switch plates; light fittings and reachable vents; interior windows, sills and tracks; and under and behind any furniture two people can move safely. A regular clean covers surfaces, floors, bathrooms and the kitchen without opening appliances or moving furniture — that is the whole difference, and it is why one costs $32 an hour and the other $36.
How do I know if my home needs a deep clean?
One question: how long since the last professional clean. More than three months, book a deep clean. Under three months with nothing obviously built up, a regular clean is enough. The visible signs are an oven with residue, grout that has gone grey, dark spots in the shower seal, or a dust line along the baseboards. We ask this before quoting rather than discovering it on the day, because getting it wrong is the most common reason people are unhappy with a cleaning service.
How much does a deep clean cost in Vancouver?
$36 per hour, per cleaner. A two-bedroom condo takes two cleaners about four hours, so around $180; a three-bedroom house takes two cleaners about five hours, around $216. Condition matters as much as size: a home cleaned regularly until now goes much faster than one untouched for two years. You get the total in writing before we start.
Is a deep clean worth the extra cost?
If it has been more than three months, yes, and the reason is arithmetic rather than appearance. A deep clean costs roughly double a regular one, but it resets the baseline, and every recurring visit afterwards is faster and therefore cheaper. Booking a regular clean on a home that needs a deep one means paying for a visit that cannot finish the job.
How long does a deep clean take?
Four to five hours with two cleaners for most Vancouver homes, and longer for a larger house or one that has not been professionally cleaned in a long time. It is a single visit, not spread over days. We give you the hours in the quote so you can plan around it, and we do not stop early because the clock ran out.
Do you move the furniture?
We move what two people can lift safely — sofas, chairs, side tables — and clean behind and underneath, then put it back. We do not move beds, pianos, full bookcases or anything on a granite top. If you want everything moved, including appliances, that is the Premium full reset at $45 per hour with a fixed three-person team.
Is deep cleaning the same as spring cleaning?
In practice yes, and spring is when most Vancouver homes need it most: after a winter of closed windows and damp air, bathrooms and window frames carry the worst of it. “Spring cleaning” is just a deep clean with a season attached. It is the same service and the same rate whenever you book it.
Can I book a deep clean as a one-off?
Yes, with no contract and no obligation to continue. Many people book one deep clean before guests arrive or after a renovation and leave it there. Most, though, use it as the starting point for a recurring plan, because that is when it makes the most financial sense.
